People who think Trump is a racist who will lose the Hispanic vote have high contact with Cathedral Media.

People who get most of their political information online or from more conservative sources, think Romney lost because white conservatives stayed home.

Some #cuckservatives and conservakin are people who still watch "mainstream" media. Their "peer group" is the Cathedral.

The CNBC debate is a teachable moment for the alt-right to get the message out.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is a moron for outsourcing the Republican debates to the Cathedral.

The gap between the media and DNC is similar to the gap between the State Department and Justice Department.

The media did not fail to do its job on Wednesday night; they did their job.

The media failed because it got caught doing its job.

One way to push the Overton Window to the right is to silence as much Cathedral Media as possible.

The best way to "silence" the Cathedral is to turn it off.

Many people are not smart enough, or won't take the time, to see the media pushing the Narrative.

The best way to get people to turn people off the media is to lower the social status of Cathedral Media and its consumers.

The Stamp Act 1765 (short title Duties in American Colonies Act 1765; 5 George III, c. 12) was an act of the Parliament of Great Britain that imposed a direct tax on the colonies of British America and required that many printed materials in the colonies be produced on stamped paper produced in London, carrying an embossed revenue stamp. Printed materials included legal documents, magazines, playing cards, newspapers and many other types of paper used throughout the colonies. Like previous taxes, the stamp tax had to be paid in valid British currency, not in colonial paper money. The purpose of the tax was to help pay for troops stationed in North America after the British victory in the Seven Years' War and the French and Indian War. Local protest groups, led by colonial merchants and landowners, established connections through Committees of Correspondence that created a loose coalition that extended from New England to Maryland. Protests and demonstrations initiated by a new secret organization the Sons of Liberty often turned violent and destructive as the masses became involved. Very soon all stamp tax distributors were intimidated into resigning their commissions, and the tax was never effectively collected.

A Sensible Version of Donald Trump

This will mean doing some things Republicans like. We’ve got to devolve a lot of power from Washington back to local communities. These neighborhoods can’t thrive if they are not responsible for themselves. Then we’ve got to expand charter schools. The best charter schools radiate diverse but strong cultures of achievement. Locally administered social entrepreneurship funds could help churches and other groups expand their influence.

This will mean doing some things Democrats like. We’ve got to reform and expand early childhood education programs, complete with wraparound programs for parents. They would turn into community hubs. Infrastructure programs could increase employment.

Basically we’ve got to get socialist. No, I don’t mean the way Bernie Sanders is a socialist. He’s a statist, not a socialist. I mean we have to put the quality of the social fabric at the center of our politics. And we’ve got to get personalist: to treat people as full human beings, not just economic units you fix by writing checks.

Then we’ve got to get integrationist, to integrate different races and classes through national service and school and relocation vouchers. And finally, we have to get a little moralistic. There are certain patterns of behavior, like marrying before you have kids and sticking around to parent the kids you conceive, that contribute to better communities.

Look, I don’t know if I’m red or blue. If you want a true outsider, don’t just pick someone outside the political system. Pick someone outside the rigid partisan mentalities that are the real problem here.

This is what the house conservative at the NYTimes thinks is a palatable centrist opposition. Who is he talking to? The managerial class.

The gap between the people and the government is as wide as it was in 1765. There is no conversation going on and the supposedly smarter, well informed people are the most clueless.

Pope Loses to Bishops on Gay Sex, Wins Small Victory on Divorce

A lot of people believe papal infallibility means the Pope is always right. In reality, it is a very narrow power used in doctrinal disputes or relating to things such as the canonization of saints. On many issues, including anything outside of the realm of theology such as science and economics, the Pope is quite fallible.

After the latest synod, the butthurt Pope called the bishops meanies because they opposed him on homosexuality: Pope, ending synod, excoriates bishops with 'closed hearts'. He did win a change on divorce though:

The document spoke of a so-called "internal forum" in which a priest or a bishop may work with a Catholic who has divorced and remarried to decide jointly, privately and on a case-by-case basis if he or she can be fully re-integrated.

"In order for this happen, the necessary conditions of humility, discretion, love for the Church and her teachings must be guaranteed in a sincere search for God's will," the document said.

Of course this "internal forum" will turn into a rubber stamp because Progressivism is not Christianity. The progs have breached the gates of the Vatican.

And this brings us to why Donald Trump has caught political lightning in a bottle, resonated, and may well win the GOP nomination despite every machination the GOP establishment can come up with to stop him. An awful lot of very plain, very average and at least somewhat Conservative Americans no longer feel like Americans. They feel like a big, disrespected, utterly ignored reserve army of the unemployed. The current stage of the American journey could well be described as the denigration of the people.

Become active in the political arena and the people who run things will ridicule you and use you. The anti-war movement was useful to the Democrats right up until Mid-January 2006. Listen to Eric Cantor discuss the Tea Party in 2015. Raise your voice against the current zeitgeist and it will be aggressively gagged. And your professional life is in no way guaranteed even if you behave. They can replace you tomorrow and like rubbing your nose in it good and hard.

So Donald Trump can latch on to a hot button issue like immigration and ride it long and hard. It strikes a resonant chord with these masses because they sense the dehumanizing contempt emanating from the corner office at work, the TV newscast, the pulpit, and yes, from their favorite political party of the day. The current fad in America is to tell The Little People just how short they are of measuring up. All The Donald is doing is suggesting that you tell those who run you down to STFU. Just give the masses a reason to march and a sheet of music to sing off.

The GOP establishment can wring their hands for 24-7 over how they intend to blunt Donald Trump’s momentum. They won’t succeed unless Trump Trumps himself. People are tired. They are sick and tired. They are reaching the same point Malcolm X reached. “I’m not a Democrat. I’m not a Republican, and I don’t even consider myself an American… Being here in America doesn’t make you an American. Being born here in America doesn’t make you an American.” The entire issue is lit up like a Christmas Tree when someone speaks out on the abuses surrounding our immigration system.

This is the fault line that will break America. Not white nationalism, because there are many white progressives on the unAmerican side of the battle. It will be Americans versus invaders and those who believe in invading ideologies from Europe.

We Have Entered the Age of Demographic Warfare

WaPo pretty much makes it clear: immigration is designed to achieve political goals. Bring in foreigners to help progressives defeat American conservatives.

The progressives tell us America is a proposition nation. One of the propositions is the right to self-defense and the right to bear arms. If you do not believe in the 2nd Amendment, you are not an American.

Star Wars VII Anti-Christian

What is being reinforced recently is the possibility that we may see our first flashback in a Star Wars film in Episode 7. And this would happen in a way to help explain that the Inquisitors started as a plan of Darth Vader's - to rid the galaxy of all Force-sensitive people.

The SJW/Progressive menace would probably have laughed off a boycott by Christians who pointed this aspect of the movie out, but they went nuts over a handful of people who called it anti-white.


It is also telling that most Christians probably won't boycott the movie, even though it will likely be blatantly anti-Christian.

The Failure of the GOP

A good article at Vox explaining how the GOP dominates local politics. If the GOP were truly an opposition party, it would halt advances by the national government with a unified opposition at the state level, or a disorganized multi-front opposition by various states. Instead, the progressive juggernaut rolls on. So the Democrats are in disarray and the GOP is winning election after election down ballot, but USG doesn't care. This is rule by "the Cathedral," elections don't matter.

Democrats are in denial. Their party is actually in deep trouble.

Outside In takes another view:

If the GOP take the presidency, of course, they reset back to homeostatic bi-polar alternation, degenerative quasi-equilibrium, and democratic functionality — which is disaster. So for the GOP, the question is how to stay out of the White House (without seeming to want to), while incrementally subverting the central organs of national executive power. When the decay process reaches the stages where large burning chunks are falling off, it’s critical that there’s a Democrat in the Oval Office to explain on cable news how it isn’t ze fault.

Yglesias seems to think the Republicans might do something with the presidency of right-wing significance, which is (of course) laughable on its face. The Union Executive exists to take the coming fall, and nothing else. With that kept firmly in mind, everything can go swimmingly.

There is something to be said for joining the local party apparatus.
